The school complex is located in a rural area not connected to the electrical grid. The CVCI off-grid solution provides full autonomy: 10 kWp of photovoltaic generation (25 bifacial Longi 400 Wp panels), 2 Victron MultiPlus II 8 kVA inverters in parallel for DC/AC conversion and smart load management, and 20 kWh of Pylontech LiFePO4 lithium batteries.
The sizing ensures 2 nights of autonomy without sun, enough to handle the rainy season. The LiFePO4 batteries are guaranteed for 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge — a lifespan of 15 to 20 years under normal use.
The installation powers LED lighting in classrooms, IT equipment in the computer room, ceiling fans and the borehole water pump, transforming the educational experience for 350 students.
